Duffy will be singing the theme track to a new film starring Simon Pegg, Kirsten Dunst and Megan Fox - released later this year.
Entitled 'How To Lose Friends And Alienate People', the film is released in October, as is Duffy's single - currently untitled.
An insider for the film tells The Sun, "It will be a romantic number. Producers think her involvement will be great for raising the film's profile."
Duffy is also one of the names tipped to score the soundtrack for the new James Bond movie, Quantum Of Solace
